Ludwigsburg University of Education has the following vacancy:

Tenure-Track-Professorship for Computer Science and Computer Science Education with a Focus on Digitalization in Educational Contexts (m/f/d)

(W1 with Tenure-Track W3)
(initially limited duration according to § 51 Abs. 7 LHG BW)

Responsibilities: Teaching and research in computer science and computer science education (before the interim evaluation 4 SWS; after positive interim evaluation 6 SWS) in the teacher training courses (BA/MA); Support for school internships; Participation in examinations and self-administration of the university.

Requirements: University degree (State Examination or Master’s degree) in Computer Science Education or equivalent teacher training degree; PhD; Research in Computer Science Education; own teaching practice in schools (cf. § 51 Abs. 2 LHG BW). Experiences in empirical educational research and in the field of digitally supported teaching and learning are welcome.

The tenure track professorship is offered within the framework of Germany’s Joint Federal State Funding Programme for Junior Academics. The recruitment requirements and conditions of § 51 LHG Baden-Württemberg apply. The recruitment process additionally is subject to the requirements for appointing junior professors as stated in Section 51 (2) and the requirements for professors as stated in Section 47 (3) of the Baden-Wuerttemberg State Higher Education Act (LHG). The appointed candidate will undergo an evaluation process based on the quality ensurance criteria for tenure track professorships at Ludwigsburg University of Education (see: https://www.ph-ludwigsburg.de/infos-juniorprofessuren.html).
